Endlings follows endangered animals in the midst of existential crises once they have become the last of their species.
The Javan Rhino is depicting the existential concept of Nihilism: the belief that life has no intrinsic meaning or value.
Javan Rhinos are poached illegally for their horns. The rest of the body is often left intact.
